MISSION STATEMENT
North Suffolk Cardiology A Practice of Stony Brook Community Medical, PC (NSC) is a full-service cardiology practice serving the North Shore of Suffolk County and beyond. NSC will provide patients with an unsurpassed level of cardiology care and will strive to involve them in clinical decision-making by communicating pertinent information in a clear, concise and timely fashion. NSC will serve the community-including residents, physicians and hospitals-by offering a diverse array of consulting cardiology services, providing accessible and seamless case management of the patients cardiac condition and by exploring emerging technologies within the field of cardiology, all while striving to incorporate new services and techniques as cardiology standards evolve. NSC will maintain the highest level of professional integrity and training of professional staff, and will promote a patient satisfaction culture throughout the organization.
NSC brings to the Northern Suffolk County community 26 years of experience in cardiovascular services. Our comprehensive and compassionate aftercare has given our practice the status of leader in the treatment of all aspects of cardiovascular disease: coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia and device therapy. Our reputation as a world-class cardiology practice is exemplified by our recognized and accomplished physician leaders in the field of noninvasive and interventional cardiology. All of our physicians are board certified in cardiology, while some are boarded in interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT angiography and echocardiography subspecialties. We also employ Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, who will work with you and your attending physician to ensure that your cardiac conditions are treated seamlessly and in a manner that will help you remain in constant communication with your physician.
NSC is located at 45 Research Way, In Technology Park off Belle Mead Road in East Setauket. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. We have satellite office locations in Smithtown and Rocky Point. Our Smithtown location is in the St. Catherine's Medical Arts Building, 48 Route 25-A, Suite 108 Smithtown, NY 11787. Office hours will be Monday through Friday 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Our Rocky Point location is in the McCarrick Medical Park 745 Route 25-A, Suite F, Rocky Point, NY 11778. Our hours of operation are 8:30am-5:00pm. If you are a new patient, please arrive 15 minutes earlier to complete the necessary paperwork. If you are a returning patient, please alert the receptionist of any changes in your insurance coverage. We participate in most health plans in our community.
