Dr. Neal Patel joined North Suffolk Cardiology in 2011. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology as well as board eligible in interventional cardiology. He received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After pursuing his internal medicine residency training at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, he completed his fellowships in general cardiology and interventional cardiology/peripheral vascular intervention at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Dr. Patel's areas of expertise include coronary angioplasty/stenting and percutaneous treatment of peripheral vascular disease. He performs invasive cardiac procedures at Stony Brook University Hospital and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital.
