Dr. Michael P. Cesa is one of the founders of NSCA. He received his medical degree at SUNY-Downstate in Brooklyn and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Kings County Hospital-Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Cesa has served as CEO/President of NSCA, President of the medical staff at St. Johns Hospital (St. Catherine's Hospital) and Chairman of Cardiology. He is certified in cardiology and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Cesa is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American College of Chest Physicians, and is a clinical assistant professor at SUNY-Stony Brook Medical Center.
